Its Roots
The Invisible Scar started with just five articles written by me, Veronica Jarski. As a former journalist, I wrote as a means to both share my research and also process my own past. The informative site was almost an immediate hit, with a lively comment section in which readers shared their experiences.
Throughout the years, the site has been cited in psychology classes, quoted in articles, and received a great deal of mail from readers who felt heard, encouraged, and desired to start healing.

Plans for 2026
Beginning in early January, The Invisible Scar is leveling up to offer an in-depth article twice a month and an ebook every quarter. Content will be built steadily for its four content pillars:
-
trauma and education
-
practical healing tools
-
stabilization
-
community and validation
